Mason Voice Studio

My teaching philosophy is to foster a love of music through teaching a healthy singing style that allows each student’s unique voice to flourish. I help students ages thirteen and up hone their musicianship and explore their voices by exposing them to a variety of classical styles, as well as musical theater and contemporary sounds. I offer my students the opportunity to improve their musicality through healthy, age-appropriate vocal training, exposure to music history, and foster the understanding of the conjunction of music theory with performance by incorporating theory, history, and vocal technique in my lessons. I believe that these elements are essential to a singer’s understanding of music. In my studio, I encourage my students as they develop their vocal skills, performance styles, presence, musical interpretation, and unique sound in a learning environment that is engaging, professional, and inviting.
